Hairdresser nabbed for alarm, scandal

A FEMALE hairdresser was nabbed and is now facing charges after allegedly attacking a barangay kagawad who tried to pacify her as she created a scene in their neighbohood in Sta. Ana, Manila the other night.

Now facing a case of direct assault and alarm and scandal is suspect Luzviminda Rodriguez, 32, of 2343 Int. 1, Pasig Line St., Sta. Ana, Manila.

Complainant Edita Peralta, 49, barangay kagawad of Barangay 777 Zone 85, residing at No. 2336 Arellano St., Sta. Ana, Manila, told probers at the Manila Police District-Station 6 that the incident took place around 7:45 p.m. in front of a house located on 2342 Int. 1, Pasig Line St.

Peralta said she saw the suspect yelling and cussing in the area and tried to pacify her. Instead of heeding the kagawad, the suspect ignored her and continued shouting.

When the victim tried to arrest her, the suspect resisted causing her harm in the process.

A barangay tanod saw the commotion and aided in having the suspect arrested and brought to the police where she was charged accordingly.
