Human bones, clothes discovered in Batangas

A SIXTY-FIVE-YEAR-OLD farmer discovered a pile of human bones and clothes in a deserted part of Mt. Claire Subdivision in Bgy. Sta. Anastacia, Sto. Tomas, Batangas on Tuesday.

Sto. Tomas City Police Station Lt. Col Armie S. Agbuya said a certain Jose Malaiba Sarmiento, a resident of Bgy. San Rafael, Sto. Tomas, found the human bones.

Police Lieautenant Jurry Rodriguez, together with other cops, proceeded the bones have been buried in the grassy area for three to four years.

Torn clothing and an identification card believed to have belonged to the ownerof the human bones were brought to the PRO-CALABARZON Crime laboratory for analysis.

Police are still trying to determine the identity of the victim.
