In a significant step toward expanding its operational capabilities, I.E. Medica proudly hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for its new warehouse. Together with the new warehouse being built, the screening for a Level 1 Authorized Economic Operator Certification is also in place. The facility will play a key role in supporting the company’s long-term vision of increasing efficiency and enhancing its supply chain solutions.
Located in Cavite Technopark, the new warehouse will serve as a cornerstone in streamlining distribution, accommodating the growing demand for the products, and preparing for future business opportunities.
During the ceremony, the Chief Operating Officer, Ma. Victoria Sugapong, emphasized the strategic importance of the project in ensuring the company’s growth and operational efficiency. She stated, “This groundbreaking is more than just a symbol of expansion; it represents our commitment to operational excellence and the delivery of end-to-end supply chain solutions that ensure quality, efficiency, and growth”
The project reflects the company’s dedication to providing high-quality healthcare products, underscored by its robust end-to-end supply chain solutions. “As we look into the future, this project plays a pivotal role in achieving our long-term vision of becoming the country’s recognized supplier of quality and affordable medicines” Ma. Victoria Sugapong added.
Since 2019, Ayala Healthcare Holdings Inc (AC Health) has invested in I.E. Medica as a part of its efforts to expand its pharma portfolio and elevate the healthcare landscape in the Philippines. This partnership has enabled both companies to better serve Filipinos by improving access to quality healthcare. The new warehouse marks another milestone in this ongoing partnership, aligning with the shared goal of enhancing healthcare delivery. Paolo Borromeo, President and CEO of Ayala Healthcare Holdings Inc, further elaborated on the importance of operational excellence, stating, “This commitment to operational excellence isn’t just about scaling up; it’s about doing things better. With construction underway, the warehouse is expected to be fully operational by 2026. Once completed, it will support an expanded inventory, streamline the process from receiving to quality assurance, and ensure faster and more efficient dispatch. “With this new project, we are not just building a structure; we are investing in our ability to better serve our customers and improve their lives” said Monaliza Salian, President & CEO of I.E.
