Iligan City, Philippines – The Iligan City Jail-Female Dormitory actively participated in the International Coastal Clean-Up held at Purok 4, 5 & 6, Barangay Tomas Cabili, Iligan City, contributing to the global effort in protecting marine life and promoting environmental sustainability.
With the commitment to community involvement and environmental stewardship, jail personnel joined volunteers in the coastal area and successfully collected 15 sacks of assorted garbage. The activity highlights the facility’s dedication not only to the safekeeping and development of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) but also to extending service beyond its walls.
