Indian trader shot dead by Riding-In-Tandem in Cabanatuan

CABANATUAN CITY — An Indian businessman was shot dead in front of a hardware by two unidentified motorcycle-riding men here on Tuesday, police said.

City police chief, Lt. Col. Arnel M. Dial identified the slain trader as Parminderjit Maan, 48, married, of Phase II, Street 6, Bgy. Kapitan Pepe Subd., this city.

Dial said the victim died on the spot died to a gunshot wound in the head.

Investigation showed the attack occurred along Dahlia Street, Bgy. Mayapyap Sur at 10:15 a.m.

The victim was standing in front of the Cardenas Mini-Hardware when the two suspects arrived. One of them alighted and fired, hitting the trader in the head.

The two assassins fled towards Bgy. Mayapyap Norte.

Police said the back-pack carrying back-rider wore red bull caps with red-white jacket and shorts.

Police are still clueless about the motive behind the attack.
