On the early morning of January 16, 2025, at precisely 00:16 AM, Jail Officers JO1 Ryan Jay Jaurigue and JO1 Allain Bern Sambaan responded swiftly to a vehicular accident on Masterson Avenue, located in front of McDonald’s Uptown, Cagayan de Oro City. The incident involved a collision between two motorcycles.
Upon arriving at the scene, the officers found only one motorcycle, a Motor Star 110 with plate number KC 41081, and the injured driver. The officers quickly took action to secure the area by cordoning off the site to ensure safety and prevent further harm. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, they immediately contacted the Police National Office (PNP) and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT).
Thanks to their timely response, the injured individual was safely transferred to an ambulance and given the necessary medical attention. The scene was subsequently turned over to the Police Traffic Investigator for further handling.
