PHILIPPINE Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) president Philip Ella Juico will be the special guest in the 16th “Usapang Sports on Air” by the Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) via Zoom on Thursday.

Juico will talk about the country’s preparations for both the Tokyo Olympics in Japan and the Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam next year.

The long-time sports leader will also talk about the plans of the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) to resume its tournaments during the pandemic upon approval of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).

Joining Juico are Fil-Am track superstar Kristina Knott, who holds the record in both the 100m and 200m run; and BMX cycling champion Renz Viaje.

Last August, Knott made history by winning a silver medal in the 2020 Drake University Blue Oval Showcase in Iowa, USA, and breaking the Philippine record of Lydia De Vega for women’s 100m dash with 11.27 seconds.

TOPS president Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight is inviting all officers and members to attend the weekly public service program sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and Games and Amusements Board (GAB) and shown on Facebook live.

Well-known sportscaster and courtside reporter Phaister is the moderator.
