MANILA Mayor Honey Lacuna commended the Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center (GABMC) under the stewardship of its director, Dr. Ted Martin after it received its ISO certification.
Lacuna said that the certification given to GABMC, which serves the medical needs primarily of the first district of Tondo, is a significant step toward better operations and customer satisfation.
“Ito ay patunay ng kanilang mataas na pamantayan sa kalidad ng serbisyo at pangangalaga sa kalusugan,” Lacuna said, as she commended Martin and his staff for their hard work and dedication that led to the ISO certification.
The mayor added: “Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Dr. Ted Martin, ang hepe ng GABMC, naging masigasig ang institusyon sa pagpapabuti ng mga proseso, pagsasanay ng mga tauhan, at pagpapatibay ng mga sistema na sumusunod sa international standards. Ang pagkakamit ng ISO certification ay nagsisilbing patunay ng dedikasyon ng ospital sa pagbibigay ng ligtas at dekalidad na serbisyo para sa bawat pasyente.”
Lacuna expressed confidence that the new accomplishment of GABMC will serve as another milestone in the hospital’s mission to provide the best medical services for all Manilans, specially those from Tondo where the hospital is located and for which it was created.
For his part, Dr. Martin said the accreditation is not just an ordinary form of award for their hospital but is also a reminder of their responsibility to continue serving the communities of Tondo with the highest level of excellence.
“Ang ISO certification ay isang hakbang patungo sa mas magandang bukas para sa ating mga pasyente, mga empleyado, at ang buong komunidad. Patuloy naming isusulong ang mga inisyatiba upang matiyak ang pinakamahusay na kalidad ng pangangalaga,” Dr. Martin said.
He assured that the GABMC, under the leadership of Lacuna, will continue offering free health care services marked by genuine concern, for the residents of Tondo.
The GABMC, located in the first district of Tondo, is one of the six hospitals being run by the city government of Manila, each of which serves the city’s six districts.
