Lady student accuses two MPD patrolmen of hitting on her while securing police clearance

TWO patrolmen from the Manila Police District (MPD) are now in hot water after a 21-year-old female student accused them of hitting on her when she went to the MPD headquarters just to get a police clearance.

Meantime, MPD-Public Information Office chief PMajor Philipp Ines said that an investigation is underway regarding the complaint.

The student, it was learned, filed cases for violation of Republic Act 11313 or Safe Space Act and Unjust Vexation against the two cops said to be assigned at the MPD-Police Station 13.

The complainant claimed that her woes started when she got a police clearance recently, where one of the two patrolmen offered to take her home but she declined. Said cop allegedly began sending her messages, while the second cop kept sending her messages via social media, where he asked her to go out on a date.

When she came back for her police clearance, the student alleged that the first patrolman allegedly took a ‘selfie’ with her and then put his arm on her waist.

Because of all these, the student said she decided to file a formal complaint against the two cops.
