But are you really sure you are keeping yourself healthy during this health crisis? Do you follow the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) rules to stay home during lockdown so you won’t catch or spread the virus? And while at home, do you practice healthy lifestyle?
If you had missed any one of these, you are probably not helping yourself to stay healthy.
According to Mayo Clinic, maintaining good health during pandemic is very important since most of the hospitals are full and doctors are all busy attending to patients infected with the virus.
We all know that prevention is the best cure and washing hands with soap is the best tool to kill the virus.
Check on these reminders if you’re doing them routinely:
* Skin care. Proactive skin care can help keep your skin youthful and healthy. While they say that sunlight exposure would help boost your resistance to fight the virus, too much sun is not also good for the skin.
When bathing, avoid using strong soaps.
If you have acne, find out the best ways to treat acne. Consider whether laser hair removal is right for you.
* Nail care. Look at your nails. Are they strong and healthy looking? Or do you see ridges, dents, or areas of unusual color or shape? Proper nail care is important, whether your nails are healthy or in need of special attention. * Eye care. If you're seeing clearly, there’s a tendency y to overlook routine eye care. But you know it's still important. Regular eye exams can give your eye care specialist a chance to help you correct or adapt to vision changes, as well as detect eye problems at the earliest stage.
