ISA na namang alagad ng sining ang sumakabilang-buhay, ang award-winning film director, screenplay writer at actor na si Peque Gallaga (Maurice Ruiz de Luzuriaga Gallaga).  Si Peque ay binawian ng buhay kaninang umaga, Huwebes, May 7 dahil sa pneumonia sa isang pagamutan sa Bacolod City kung saan siya at ang kanyang misis na si Madie Gallaga naka-base.  He was 76.

Potenciano (VRP) Medical Center in Mandaluyong City tends to extend the suspension of its medical clerkship and internship program for medical students and graduates to apparently keep its medical interns, who, although some are already graduates, remain inexperienced and lacked the skills and training to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.
