Lingayen airport flight ops suspended by CAAP to storm

THE Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) suspended flight operations at the Lingayen Airport due to the heavy rains brought about by typhoon ‘Enteng’.

CAAP spokesman Eric Apolonio said two flights were cancelled going to San Jose Airport where 51 departing passengers were affected along with 53 arriving passengers.

Ten flights were cancelled from and going to the Bicol International Airport while two flights were also cancelled each at the Masbate airport and at the Virac Airport.

The CAAP said that as of this writing, there are no damages reported at the Bicol international Airport Naga, Virac, Masbate, Daet and Bulan airports due to rains caused by the typhoon.
