LTO, TESDA offer free education for drivers

FREE education for the drivers!

Thus said Transportation Assistant Secretary and Land Transportation Office Chief Edgar Galvante (LTO) and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Director General Isidro Lapena during the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the two government’s agencies yesterday morning at the LTO-Compound along East Avenue in Quezon City.

The event was witnessed by officials from TESDA and LTO led by LTO-Law Enforcement Section Director Lawyer Clarence V. Guinto and Executive Director Romeo Vera Cruz, also a lawyer.

With this partnership between LTO and TESDA, we are optimistic that would boosts the free education for drivers nationwide. Malaking tulong po ang free education na ito para sa drivers, sa tulong ng TESDA,” said Galvante.

Lapena said the agency is equipped with all materials and information needed by those who to secure a driver’s license from the LTO.

Tulad po ng nasabi ni Assec. Galvante, lahat po ng ating mga regional offices nationwide ay capable and able to teach all the necessary information and equipment na kailangan ng individual para matuto at tiyak na makakuha ng driver’s license sa LTO,” said Lapena.

Education for drivers is very important considering it involves life every time an individual is driving especially for public utility vehicles, said Guinto.

Transport leaders welcomed the free education program by LTO-TESDA.
