Ma, daughter, 3 others held for drugs in Caloocan

NATIONAL Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Regional Director P/MGen. Debold Sinas lauded the Northern Police District (NPD) for the arrest of five big-time drug peddlers, including a mother and daughter, that resulted in the confiscation of more than P2.3 million worth of shabu in separate buy-bust operations Thursday evening in Caloocan City.

NPD Director P/Brig. Gen. Ronaldo Ylagan said the arrest of Alfredo Boyoso, 52, member of “Onie Drug Group”, Rodrigo Diana. 42 and Joseph Sison, 52, all residents of Dagat-Dagatan, Caloocan City, was the result of a buy-bust operation conducted by elements of the District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) led ty P/Capt. Ramon Aquiatan, Jr. at the corner of Sabalo and Langaray Street, Bgy. 14, Dagat-Dagatan at around 11:30 p.m.

Seized from the suspects, who were all on the police drug watch list, were more or less 120 grams of shabu worth P816,000, P12,000 marked money consisting of P1,000 genuine bill and 11 pieces of boodle money, a cellular phone and weighing scale.

At around 11 p.m., the Caloocan Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) led by P/Capt. Joel Guimpatan and P/Capt. Deo Cabildo arrested Ana Marie Camilan, 44, and her daughter Esmaika Camilan,18, student, both residing at 96 ROTC Hunters, Bgy. Tatalon, Quezon City, in a buy bust operation along C-3 Road, Brgy. 55, Caloocan City.

Caloocan police chief P/Col. Dario Menor said the suspects were arrested after they handed a pack of shabu to Pat. Noel Sison of SDEU who acted as a poseur-buyer in exchange for P40,000 marked money.

When frisked, the two yielded 225 grams of shabu with standard drug prices worth P1.530.000 placed in a red paper bag and the marked money used in buy bust consisting of 39 pieces of boodle money and P1,000.
