Malabon’s most wanted person falls in Bulacan

THE long arm of the law finally caught up with Malabon City’s No. 1 Most Wanted Person Sunday afternoon in Marilao, Bulacan.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief P/MGen. Debold Sinas commended the operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section and Intelligence Section of the Malabon Police Station under the leadership of city police chief P/Col. Jessie Tamayao for the arrest of Elizalde Leo, 33, resident of Flovi Homes, Brgy. Tonsuya at around 5 p.m. along Brgy. Loma De Gato, Marilao Bulacan.

The arrest stemmed from a tip received by Tamayao from an informant regarding the location of the accused, prompting him to instruct the Tracker Team of Intelligence Section to conduct the validity of the report.

After two weeks of surveillance and monitoring, the tracker team confirmed the whereabouts of the accused along Brgy. Loma De Gato.

The Malabon police, in coordination with the Marilao Police Station, served the warrant of arrest for homicide issued against the suspect by Judge Misael Ladaga, of the Malabon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 292, on March 7, 2020.

The accused was apprised of his constitutional rights upon his arrest before he was turned over to the Malabon City Police Station Custodial Facility for temporary confinement pending the issuance of commitment order from the court of origin.

Team NCRPO’s relentless campaign against Most Wanted Persons has arrested a lot law offenders in the Metro and even the neighboring provinces. Rest assured that we will not slacken in this fight but instead intensify our efforts to finally give justice to their victims,” said Sinas said.
