Malaysian authorities helping search for missing ambulance aircraft

THE Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines said that Malaysian authorities are now helping in the search for the missing air ambulance in Palawan.

CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio said the Malaysian Police Airwing Department , Malaysian Air Force and Malaysian Coast Guard are now jointly searching for the missing yellow bee.

Focus of the search and rescue operations by Malaysian authorities is part of the boundary of Pulau Banggi and Balabac in Sabah, Malaysia.

The Malaysian rescuers assured they will not enter the Philippine territory.

Said helicopter ambulance has five occupants and went missing on Wednesday after picking up a patient at the Mangsee Island.

The occupants include the pilot, a nurse, a patients and two companions of the patient.

The air ambulance reportedly lost signal while going to Brooke’s Point, Palawan.
