A 62-year-old male American national lost consciousness upon arrival at the NAIA Terminal 3 on Thursday morning.
In a report to the office of Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) general manager Eric Ines, the passenger was identified as Gorge Anderson Bingham, Jr. He arrived at 6:46 a.m. at the NAIA Terminal 3 aboard United Airlines flight UA-189 from San Francisco USA.
The passenger was said to have disembarked normally and was walking along the concourse area on his way to the immigration area when he suddenly lost consciousness.
A medical team from the MIAA arrived and immediately gave first aid to the passenger.
It was learned that Bingham had low blood pressure and oxygen level, causing him to faint.
Airline staff and security personnel helped the MIAA medical team in assisting the passenger who was brought to a stretcher and then rushed to the Makati Medical Center.
Reportedly, he is already out of danger.
