POLICE arrested the most wanted man in Kamuning for rape.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director, Police Brigadier General Danilo P. Macerin identified the arrested suspect as Mark Anthony Macaldo, 29, a resident of Bgy. Paligsahan.
Macaldo was reportedly accused by his former live in partner of sexually abusing her.
He was arrested at about 3:50 p.m. of February 10, 2021, inside his residence on Panay Ave., Bgy. Paligsahan, Quezon City.
Macaldo is the Top 1 Most Wanted Person of PS 10 and has a warrant of arrest for qualified rape docketed under Criminal Case Number M-QZN-20-07917-18 issued by Judge Roberto P. Buenaventura, of QC-RTC Branch 86.
Bail for Macaldo’s provisional liberty was set at P200,000.
During interrogation, Macaldo denied the charges against him saying that he was clueless about the case.
“Matagal na kaming hiwalay kaya hindi ko alam kung bakit ako nagkaroon ng kaso,” Macaldo said.
