Man dies after jumping off from foot bridge in Sampaloc

A still unidentified man died instantly after jumping off and falling head first from a footbridge located on España Boulevard in Sampaloc, Manila.

PCapt. Dennis Turla, chief of the Manila Police District -homicide section, described the victim as between 20 and 30 years old. He was clad in a yellow t-shirt, gray maong pants and black rubber shoes.

Turla said the victim remains unidentified since no wallet or cellphone was found on him.

Mark Lester Angeles, Grab rider, said he was aboard his bicycle at 1:25 p.m. when he heard a loud thud and then found the victim flat on his stomach with blood oozing from his head.

The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) headed by Arnel Angeles responded to no avail.
