A 41-year-old man died when he was stabbed with a broken bottle, while trying to pacify two groups of men who were about to engage in a riot in front of his home in Tondo, Manila.
Victim Brian Sese, of No. 247 Moriones St., Barangay 123, Tondo, Manila, did not make it alive to the hospital where he was rushed following the incident.
Prober PSMS Boy Niño Baladjay of the Manila Police District -homicide section said the incident took place at around 6 a.m.
The victim reportedly confronted the two warring groups in front of his home, until one of them broke a bottle and with it stabbed the victim in the thigh.
Police said the victim was brought to the nearest hospital but may have lost a lot of blood which caused his death.
A follow-up operation is being made by the MPD-Police Station 1 for the suspect’s immediate arrest.
