A 30-YEAR-OLD man was nabbed by the Manila Police District-Station 7 for allegedly sexually molesting a nine-year-old girl at the back of a parked truck Thursday night in Tondo, Manila.
Now facing charges for violation of Republic Acct 7610 is Israel Barrera, of 799 Fabia St.,Tondo.
Police said that based on the complaint, the girl was playing at around 8:30 p.m. when the suspect approached and told her she could play at the back of the said truck, then parked on Favia Street in Tondo.
Once there, the suspect reportedly removed the girl’s underwear and inserted a finger into her private part.
The girl told her mother about what happened and with the help of officials from Barangay 56 Zone 5, Barrera was arrested and turned over to the MPD- Women and Children Protection Desk at the MPD headquarters for investigation and the filing of rape charges against him.
