A 23-YEAR-OLD motorbike theft suspect was nabbed by the Provincial Highway Patrol Team (LPHPT) for two carnapping cases in Calamba City, Laguna during Aa Manhunt Charlie operation Monday afternoon in Pasay City.
PHPT PCapt. Charlie Reyes, in a report submitted to Regional Highway Patrol Unit IVA Director PLT.Col. Samson Belmonte, identified the arrested suspect as Vince Gotis Macam.
Macam was arrested on the strength of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Arturo Noblejas of RTC Branch 105, Calamba City for carnapping and Judge Glenda Menoza Ramos of RTC Branch 36 for the same offense.
The operating team led by Reyes said the suspect was in his hideout at Bgy 148, Pasay City when arrested at about 3:15 p.m.
“Ang istilo ng suspek ay manghihiram ng motorsiklo, saka ibebenta sa halagang P10,000,na ilang beses ng ginagawa,” said Reyes.
A bail of P300,000 was recommended for Macam’s provisional release.
