STO TOMAS City, Batangas — A man was shot dead by an alleged drunk buddy here on New Year’s eve.
Tomas City Police Station head cop Lt./Col. Armie S. Agbuya identified the slain victim as Reynante Acosta.
The suspect identified as Carlo Padayag Alcasin is now being hunted.
A Bgy. Sta Cruz watchman informed the Sto Tomas CPS about the incident.
Initial investigation showed Acosta and Padayag arrived together at a sari-sari store owned by one Roland Gonzaleza at around 10:30 p.m. on December 31. Police said they suspect both were drunk.
Moments later, the suspect shot the victim in the head for no apparent reason then fled.
