OPERATIVES from the Manila Police District -District Intelligence Division (MPD-DID) nabbed a 29- year-old man ‘wanted’ for frustrated murder during an operation in Barangay Sto Tomas, San Luis, Pampanga.
It was learned from PLTCol. John Guiagui, chief of the DID, that suspect was nabbed at around 2 p.m. He was identified as Emil Christopher Katipunan, of #2437 Vitas St., Brgy 98 Tondo, Manila.
The suspect was sentenced in absentia by Manila RTC,Branch 12 Presiding Judge Renato Enciso on June 25,2024.
Guiagui said that after posting bail, the suspect went into hiding and never attended hearings relative to his case.
The suspect is now detained at the San Luis Municipal Police Station in Brgy. Sto Tomas, San Luis, Pampanga while awaiting a commitment order from the court which issued his arrest warrant.
