A man wanted for theft for more than ten years already was nabbed upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3, during a joint operation by PNP Aviation Security Group under PBGen Jason L Capoy and Pasay City Police Station on July 13, 2025.
Capoy said the suspect was arrested on Sunday midnight upon arrival from Istanbul, Turkey.
The arrested individual was flagged by immigration personnel after verification of an Alias Warrant of Arrest issued in 2014, followed by an immediately coordination made with concerned law enforcement units, leading to the arrest of the accused, Capoy added.
He said the suspect is now in the custody of the Pasay City Police Station for proper documentation and the continuation of legal proceedings tied to the decade-old theft case.
“The campaign against wanted persons is far from over, it’s only getting stronger. If we can arrest someone wanted for over ten years, expect even more”, Capoy stressed.
