THE city government of Manila has concluded the three-day Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in HR Management, also known as PRIME-HRM, with 100% rating in all assessment areas.

Owing to this, Mayor Honey Lacuna commended all who made the achievement possible, such as City Personnel Officer Miguelita Alonzo, City Council of Manila headed by Secretary to the City Council Atty. Luch Gempis Jr., the PRIME-HRM working team headed by Chief Administrative Officer Rosemarie Quiambao, HRM practitioners in the city government, as well as all city employees who took part in the effort.

It was learned that the city government achieved 100% rating for level 2 in the areas of Recruitment, Selection & Placement, Learning and Development, Performance Management and Rewards & Recognition.

Lacuna congratulated Manila city officials and employees for the said achievement.

PRIME-HRM stands for Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management.

It is a mechanism to support the attainment of the Civil Service Commission vision of becoming a Center of Excellence for Human Resource and Organization Development and entails greater engagement not just of the human resource management officer (HRMO) but also of the officials and the rank-and-file employees.
