West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) is offering septic tank cleaning services to its residential and semi-business customers this September in select parts of Malabon, Manila, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Pasay, Valenzuela, Quezon City, and in Cavite Province at no extra cost.
The company has adopted new and more stringent protocols in the conduct of desludging services to ensure the safety of its customers who will avail of the septic tank cleaning. Maynilad requires all of its desludging personnel and vacuum truck unit operators to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), practice physical distancing, and undertake extra disinfection procedures to protect against the spread of COVID-19.
“We have made our already-stringent desludging safety protocols even stricter, to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to protect them from possible COVID-19 infection as we deliver our desludging services in their homes,” said Maynilad COO Randy T. Estrellado, adding that customers should avail of the service because it helps to protect community health and the environment.
Customers residing in barangays Hulong Duhat, Potrero, Tañong and Tonsuya in Malabon; barangays under Ermita, Pandacan, Sampaloc, Sta. Cruz, Sta. Mesa and Tondo in Manila; Brgy. Poblacion in Muntinlupa; Brgy. Sipac-Almacen in Navotas; barangays under San Jose, San Rafael and Sta. Clara in Pasay City; Brgy. Apolonio Samson, Bahay Toro, Balingasa, Damayan, Del Monte, Kaligayagan, Katipunan, Maharlika, Manresa, Mariblo, Novaliches Proper, NS Amoranto, Pag-ibig sa Nayon, Pasong Putik, Payatas, San Antonio, Santo Domingo, Santa Lucia, Sienna, Talipapa and Unang Sigaw in Quezon City; Brgy. Balangkas, Bignay, Gen. T. de Leon, Lingunan, Mapulang Lupa, Paso De Blas, Pasolo, Rincon, Ugong and Veinte Reales in Valenzuela City may avail of Maynilad’s desludging service.
Moreover, some Maynilad customers in Cavite province, particulary in Brgy. Alapan I-C, Anabu I-B to I-F, Anabu II-A to II-F, Bayan Luma V, VI and IX, Bucandala III to V, Molino V, Palico I and Pasong Buaya I and II in Imus City; Brgy. Samala-Marquez, Santa Isabela, Tabon II and III, Tramo-Bantayan and Wakas II in Kawit, Cavite; and Brgy. Kanluran, Muzon II, Poblacion, Sapa III and Silangan II in Rosario may avail of the company’s septic tank cleaning services at no extra cost. Septic tank cleaning service normally costs around PhP5,000 per truck.
