Mayor Oca regularizes 132 Caloocan employees

CALOOCAN City Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan regularized around 132 contractual and job order workers who had been working in the local government for more than a decade.

The city chief executive said that aside from regularizing job order and contractual workers, he also promoted more than 100 qualified regular employees who has not been promoted for several years as part of his continued program to the city government.

City Human Resource and Management Office head Lorilei Del Carmen said that despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Oca continued to pay attention to the regularization program of the city government.

Isabel Clima, one of the job order workers of Day Care Centers, expressed her deep appreciation to Mayor Oca for turning his status to regular employee after working for more than 31 years.

The mayor said his program of regularization was in gratitude for the service and concern of workers for the city of Caloocan. Mayor Oca said.
