Media Advisory for NAMFREL HQ

MEDIA ADVISORY

Please be advised that the National Citizens’ Movement for Free Elections (NAMFREL) will have its National Headquarters for the 2025 National and Local Elections at this address: Carmen Hall, 12th Floor, DMG Center, Domingo M. Guevara St., Mandaluyong City. NAMFREL will be receiving and verifying election observations from all over the country in the National Headquarters. The NAMFREL National Headquarters will open on May 12, 2025, and will operate 24 hours a day. It will remain open until May 15, 2025, after which it will scale down operations in NAMFREL’s head office in the same building.

Members of the press and other organizations who wish to send representatives or observers are welcome to visit, but you are requested to register at the lobby. On May 12, 2025, Election Day, NAMFREL will hold a Media Briefing at 12 noon at the NAMFREL National Headquarters. NAMFREL may hold additional media briefings throughout the rest of the day if necessary, and also plans to do so periodically after May 12. NAMFREL will also release bulletins throughout Election Day based on the observations of NAMFREL volunteers in the field.

NAMFREL is also operating an off-site Election Data Analytics Center in partnership with the Asia Pacific College & Geodata. The analytics center will process and handle election data for analysis and further insights. Members of the press and other organizations are welcome to visit and observe its operations at the Asia Pacific College, Humabon Street, Magallanes, Makati City, starting on May 12. Visitors are requested to present their credentials to be allowed entry.

The general public are encouraged to download the NAMFREL 2025 app and participate in the NAMFREL Operation QR Count 2025 (OQC 2025). Filipinos can use the app to scan the QR codes of the election returns (ERs) posted outside polling places to help verify electronically transmitted results.

NAMFREL encourages Filipinos to continue to be vigilant and to help ensure that elections will be peaceful, and that the vote count will be transparent.
