An alleged member of the Mendoza criminal group and three others were nabbed in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Manila Police District – Police Station 4 in Sampaloc, Manila on Wednesday night.
PMaj Gil John Lobaton of the MPD-PS 4 identified the suspect as Glen dela Cruz, 41, said to be a member of the Mendoza Criminal Group and Jonathan Lausin alias Suma,46; Paolo Mari Jacinto alias Pao,21 and Mark Anthony Marquez,18.
The suspects were nabbed at 11:50 p.m. at the corner of Vicente Cruz and Laon-Laan Streets in Brgy.486 , Zone 48, Sampaloc, Manila.
Seized from them were 55 grams of shabu with a street value of P374,000; P500 buy-bust money and a black coin purse.
The suspects were charged with violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Manila Prosecutor’s Office.
