A MALE personnel from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) was brutally slain by his childhood enemy who stabbed him 19 times in the different parts of the body, mostly in the stomach, while he was buying food in Tondo, Manila the other day.
The victim, identified as Rosauro Suba, 55, is said to be a member of the MMDA demolition team and residing at No. 991E Dagupan St., Tondo, Manila.
His killer, identified as Felix Amahan, Jr., 56, of No. 969 H Barrio Menu, Dagupan, Tondo, was arrested by operatives from the Manila Police District Detachment under Maj. Edward Samonte during a follow-up operation conducted at 6:35 p.m. at the corner of Oroqueta Street and Recto Avenue in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
A report by PMSg Archie Victorino of the MPD-homicide section said the incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. in front of a house along Dagupan Street.
The victim was said to be buying food as usual when the suspect appeared and approached him. An argument ensued until the suspect took out a knife and with it stabbed the victim repeatedly and fled the scene.
The victim was rushed to the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center (JRMMC) where doctors tried to save him but failed.
