MEMBERS of the Manila Police District-Station 4 arrested in a buy-bust in Sampaloc, Manila a drug pusher said to be seventh in the said station’s list of ‘wanted’ persons.
Confiscated from the arrested suspect was a .22 magnum pistol and drugs.
The suspect, identified as Lharz Batac, alias “Kong,” was nabbed along with a certain Mark Anthony Gonzales, Jr. Both are from Lardizabal Street in Sampaloc.
P/ Lt.Col. Arthur Baybayan, MPD- Sampaloc Police Station 4 commander, said the operation was conducted at 12:05 a.m. on November 4 in front of 1335 Lardizabal St. Sampaloc, based on information received by the police regarding rampant drug activities in the area.
Seized from the suspect were a gun and three sachets of shabu worth P13,600.
The suspect was charged with violation of Section 5 and Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 apart from illegal possesion of firearms.
