A total of ten pushers were arrested by the Manila Police District (MPD) in separate buy-bust operations in Manila.
Those arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted at 1:40 a.m. at the corner of Lubiran and Cordillera Streets in Sta. Mesa, Manila were Virgilio Manguera, Albert Fernandez and Ronal Monterey. They were found in possession of 4.2 grams of shabu.
Prior to that, at 12:01 a.m., the MPD-PS 2 nabbed Jethro Dela Cruz, Ramil Sing and Chris Triste on Antipolo Street in Tondo.
Meanwhile, suspects Russel Rama and Angela Aristorenas were arrested in an operation conducted on July 8, 2025 where police confiscated P40,800 worth of shabu also on Antipolo Street.
At 5:55 p.m. of the same day, the MPD arrested at the corner of Mel Lopez Boulevard and Capulong Street, suspects Jerrel Laborda and Raquel Nuque, who were found in possession of P40,000 worth of shabu.
The MPD filed charges against the suspects for violation of Sec. 11 Article II of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 before the Manila City Prosecutor’s Office.
