THE Manila Police District- Baseco Police Station 13 headed by station commander P/ Lt.Col. Robert Domingo announced the arrest of a 32-year-old man wanted for murder during an operation at the Baseco Compound in Port Area, Manila the other day.
Based on information, Domingo said his men served an arrest warrant against Ronel Caparas, alias “Ibac,” of Block 15- B, Baseco Compound, Port Area.
Domingo said that a report from P/Lt. Roberto Medrano, Jr., shows that Caparas was arrested at around 12:45 p.m. in his home.
The arrest was pursuant to a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Anne Marie Mas of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 52 dated October 12, 2020 for a case of murder.
No bail was recommended for Caparas’ provisional liberty. He was made to undergo a medical check-up before being turned over to the police station.
