Murdered man found sprawled on street

A 36-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead by still unidentified suspects Sunday evening in Caloocan city.

The lifeless body of Cesar Crisosto, Jr. was found sprawled along Warayan St., Bgy. 180, by roving barangay officials at around 9:30 p.m. with gunshot wounds to the head.

Northern Police District (NPD) Director P/Brig. Gen. Ronaldo Ylagan said Barangay Chairperson Teresita Ceralde of Bgy. 180 reported the incident to Amparo Police Sub-Station commander P/Lt. Bernardo Bautista who immediately instructed his men to cordon the area.

Elements of the NPD Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) led by P/Maj. Prestan Antonio recovered two empty shells and a fired bullet for a still unknown caliber of firearm which will be submitted to NPD Crime Laboratory for ballistic examination.

Caloocan Police North Extension Office (NEO) investigators are still conducting a follow-up investigation to determine the motive behind the killing.
