FROM the PITX, Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime Bautista proceeded to the NAIA Terminal 1, 2 and 3 and made the rounds of the premier airport terminals on Wednesday.
The said inspection is part of the ‘Oplan Ayos Undas 2024‘ aimed at ensuring the safety, orderliness and readiness of the NAIA terminals.
The need for all these, Bautista said, is to make sure that all passengers who will be trooping to the airport either to depart or arrive during the holidays will experience a smooth and hassle-free travel.
Those who joined the said inspection included MIAA General Manager Eric Ines, NICC General Manager Angelito Alvarez, DOTr Usec. for Aviation Roberto Lim, Usec. for Road Transport and Infrastructure Ferdinand Ortega Jesus Ortega, Assistant Secretary for Road Transport Non-Infra and SAICT Head Jose Lim IV, OTS Administrator, Undersecretary Crisaldo Nieves and CAAP Director General Manuel Tamayo.
During the rounds, Bautista personally inquired from the airport users about their experience to get first hand information and he expressed satisfaction over the comments.
