CALAMBA CITY — With the appointment of Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao as director of the National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO), Brig. Gen. Felipe Natividad assumed as director of Police Regional Office (PRO4A).

In turnover rites administered by Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Debold Sinas on Saturday, Danao formally relinguished the post he vacated to Natividad.

Natividad, a pride of Philippine Military Academy Class ‘Bigkis Lahi of 1990, became more popular when he led the Bohol Police Provincial Office in 2016.

Recalling his stint in Bohol, Natividad recalled how they were able to successfully fight and overpower members of the dreaded Abu Sayyaf who entered the province to carry out banditry and terrotistic activities.

As we worked together with the community and the Local Government Units in the province, we were able drive the enemies away,” said Natividad.

The newly-installed director said he was overwhelmed by the warm reception of PRO4A personnel and other personalities in Calabarzon region.

I am humbled and challenged to give my very best in my position as PRO4A director knowing the recent achievements of the command and its reputation as the country’s best Police Regional Office,” he said.

In his speech, Sinas congratulated both Natividad and Danao as he reiterated the significance of their respective positions. He also expressed his guidance for all PNP officers.

Let us unite and be one in addressing the problems our boloved country is facing. We need unity and cooperation to effectively fight all forms of criminalities and maintain peace, law and order,” said the PNP chief.
