THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) celebrated its 88th anniversary with a theme, “NBI, Tagapagtaguyod ng Katarungan, Katuwang Tungo sa Maunlad na Bagong Pilipinas”.
NBI Director Jaime Santiago led the celebration which kicked off with a thanksgiving mass, followed by a program.
The event held in Quezon City was attended by Department of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla and Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin as Guest of Honor and Speaker.
There, Santiago said he would want to leave a legacy by giving his all in providing efficient service to the public.
Awards were given under the successful Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) for best organizational unit, outstanding case and accomplishment, best employees, investigation agents and special investigators and service awards for employes who served with the bureau for 10 to 40 years.
Also part of the celebration are the slated Command Conference on November 15 and the NBI Director’s Cup 2024 to be held from November 16 to 17 at the Iron Sight Shooting Range in Silang, Cavite.
