2 pushers yield P1.3M shabu in Caloocan City

POLICE seized around P1.3 million worth of shabu from two notorious drug pushers during a buy-bust operation shortly after midnight yesterday in Caloocan city.

Operatives of Caloocan Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) led by P/Capt. Deo Cabildo arrested Kevin Bryant Sultan, 23, of 11 Riverside, Phase 12 and Michael Angelo Villa, 28, of Lot 12 Blk 56, Phase 12, Bgy. 188 after they conspired in selling a medium size heat-sealed plastic sachet of shabu worth P50,000 to an undercover cop.

Caloocan police chief P/Col. Dario Menor said SDEU operatives conducted the buy-bust operation at around 12:45 a.m. in front of Sultan’s house using marked money composed of two pieces genuine P1,000 bill and 48 pieces of boodle money.

Arresting police officers seized from the suspects a total of 200 grams of shabu with standard drug price worth P1,360,000and the marked money.

The suspects were presented for inquest proceedings before the Caloocan City Prosecutor’s Office on charges for violation of selling, possession and conspiracy under R.A. 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2020.
