TWO Russian nationals who were allegedly involved in a lending scam were nabbed following an entrapment operation inside their company in Pasig City on Thursday.
Pasig Police chief. PCol, Moises Villaceran Jr, identified the suspects as Tim Isakov and Stanislav Kutukovs.
Investigation showed that the suspects were employees of Finance Technologies Inc. located in Barangay Rosario, Pasig. The duo reportedly assist borrowers with their documents to avail of a cash loan.
Villaceran said the management of the lending company learned that the suspects represented fictitious borrowers using fake documents and credentials. The foreigners, he said, were also the ones who received the cash in behalf of the fictitious borrowers.
The management of the lending company sought assistance from Pasig police on Wednesday after the suspects again processed a cash loan of a supposed borrower whose loan was set to be released to suspects.
