Three wanted persons, including one applying for police clearance, were arrested in Quezon City.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Chief Supt. Joselito T. Esquivel Jr. said Jonathan Soriano, 28, of Galilan St., Bgy. Tatalon, was arrested at the Police Clearance Section located at the Quezon City Hall headed by Chief Insp. Rodel C. Maritana.
Soriano was arrested at 10 a.m. yesterday after his name was a ‘hit’ in the system and had a standing warrant for reckless imprudence resulting in multiple slight physical injuries issued by RTC Judge Fernando T. Sagun with bail set at P4,000.
Novaliches Police Station (PS 4) under Supt. Rossel Cejas arrested Richel Panelago, 36, of Novaliches, by virtue of a warrant for perjury issued by MTC Judge Joannes H. Asis. She was nabbed at about 5:10 p.m. Wednesday at 625 Pagkabuhay Road, Bgy. Bagbag. Novaliches, with bail set at P6,000.
PS 4 also arrested Wilson Tumamak, 60, of Novaliches, at 1 p.m. along Don Julio Gregorio St., Bgy. Bagbag, Novaliches, for violation of RA 7610 (child abuse), issued by Judge Ma. Lourdez A. Giron. of RTC Branch 102, with bail set at P80,000.
The courts of origin will be notified of the arrest of the wanted persons.
