THREE arrested notorious drug pushers who yielded almost P2 million worth of shabu Sunday morning in Navotas city are now under intense investigation by police to find out their source of illegal drugs.
Northern Police District Director P/Brig. Gen. Ronaldo Ylagan believed that the arrest of Marvin Perales, 25, of F. Pascual St. Bgy. Daanghari, Marvin Turla, 30, of Katuga St. Bgy. San Jose and Cresencio Arroyo, 33, of PNP Compound, Bgy. 73 will pave the way for the police to extract enough information to track down their main supplier of shabu.
The suspects were arrested by elements of Navotas Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) at around 8:35 a.m. along Los Martires St. Bgy. San Jose after they handed a plastic sachet of shabu to an undercover cop in exchange for P1,000 marked money.
Navotas police chief P/Col Rolando Balasabas said the suspect, during body searche, yielded three medium size plastic sachets and three knot-tied plastic bag containing 270 grams of shabu with a street value worth P1.836,000.
