THREE persons said to be ‘wanted’ for various crimes were nabbed by operatives from the Manila Police District (MPD) in separate operations in Manila.
Now in the custody of the MPD are Ricardo Delica, 33, a tricycle driver, of 2580 Granate St., San Andres Bukid, Sta. Ana; Dominic Santiago, 19, a housekeeping employee, of 2350 Pasig Line St., Sta. Ana and Nancy Trimidal, 48, a housemaid, of 1547 Prudencio St., Sampaloc, all in Manila.
It was learned that the MPD-Station 6 carried out the operations one after another, beginning at around 2 a.m. with the arrest of Delica on Onyx Street in San Andres Bukid, by Warrant and Intelligence Section operatives who were armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Lorenzo Dela Rosa of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 4 where Delica had a pending case for alleged violation of the Anti-Child Abuse Law. His bail was set at P80,000.
Santiago was arrested next by the same group, by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jacqueline Martin-Balictar of the Manila RTC Branch 9. He is facing a case for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, for which a bail of P40,000 was recommended for his provisional liberty.
Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) operatives meanwhile nabbed Trimidal hours later inside her home. She was charged with theft which became the basis for the issuance of an arrest warrant by Judge Ronaldo Sandoval of the Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija Municipal Trial Court.
