SOME 31 female dancers allegedly performing nude on stage were rounded up in an anti-trafficking entrapment operations conducted by the police Wednesday evening in Makati City.
Makati police chief P/Col. Rogelio Simon said the raid on Feelmore Ihaw-Ihaw Atbp Bar and Restaurant located at 1330 Filmore St., Bgy. Palanan was carried out following an anonymous tip that the establishment has been holding lewd shows and engaged in illegal sex activities.
Joint elements of Makati Police Station Investigation and Detective Management Section (SIDMS) Intelligence Unit and Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD) led by P/Maj. Gideon Ines, Jr, swooped down on the establishment at around 11 p.m. after an undercover cop who posed as customer witnessed the holding of lewd shows and sexual activities inside the establishment.
Around 15 employees and 24 male guests, including three Indonesians, were brought to the Makati Central Police Station while the rescued women , all clad in skimpy and daring clothes, were turned over to the Makati Social Welfare Development (MSWD).
Col. Simon said they will recommend to the Makati Busineess Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) the closure of the establishment after they found out that all employees and female dancers were working without individual working and health permits while the bar was operating with an expired business permit.
