FOUR suspected gunrunner-cum-drug pushers, including a woman and two brothers were arrested in a buy-bust operation Tuesday evening in Caloocan City.

Marlon Ramat, 30 and his elder brother Mark Anthony, 32, both of 88 D. Arellano St., Bgy. 133 Bagong Barrio were nabbed by combined operatives of Northern Police District Special Operation Unit (DSOU) and Northern Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) after they sold a caliber .38 revolver to a police-poseur buyer at around 8:30 p.m., along D. When frisked, the suspects yielded two plastic packs containing more or less 12 grams of shabu with an estimated street value worth P25,000 and the P3,000 buy-bust money.

Police recovered from the two suspects one 12-gauge shotgun, P3,000 marked money used in a buy-bust and two plastic packs of shabu weighing more or less 22.5 grams with an estimated street value worth P45,000.

The arrested suspects will be charged for violation of R.A 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act in relation to Omnibus Election Code and R.A 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 before the Caloocan City Prosecutor’s Office.
