THE Quezon City Police District (QCPD) yesterday announced the arrest of four wanted persons including two who were applying for a police clearance.
According to QCPD top cop Chief Supt. Joselito Esquivel, Ray Andrew Esquilona, 32, of Tabigo Street, Brgy. Commonwealth and Ramulito Nuera, 41, of 123 Kamias Road, Sikatuna Village were securing a police clearance at the E-Police Clearance Section when their names appeared as a “hit” on the computer.
It turned out that Esquilona has a standing warrant of arrest for a robbery case issued by Judge John Boomshi Sy Rodolfo of MTC Branch 38 of QC.
His bail was set at P12,000.
On the other hand, Nuera has a pending court case of violation of the BP 22 or the Bouncing Check Law issued by Judge Eduardro Ramon Reyes of MTC Branch 68 in Pasig City.
The court set his bail at P2,000.
Two other persons sought by the law also fell into the hands of the authorities in separate operations.
In a report, the Fairview Police Station (PS-5) arrested Denniel Pedrano, 23, around 1:15 p.m. Friday in Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Novaliches for violation of the Mandaluyong City ordinance 694 prohibiting riding-in-tandem on motorcycles.
The Galas Police Station also reported the arrest of Rani Boy Iran, 22, at 246 Rodriguez Sr. Blvd., Block 6 in Brgy. Damayang Lagi around 5 p.m. also on Friday on drug charges.
Esquivel directed his men to notify the courts regarding the suspects’ arrests.
