400-year-old Sto. Nino burned in Pandacan fire

THE Sto.Niño de Pandacan Parish  confirmed that the 400-year-old image of the Sto. Niño de Pandacan was burnt during the fire that hit the Church on Friday.

This was announced during a mass held outside the Church yesterday morning.

It was learned that part of the said image’s clothing and the ball it held have been recovered and kept at the second floor.

Initially, reports had it that the image was missing.

Yesterday, the said Church was able to hold two masses, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The Church holds its masses outside where the partially burnt image of Jesus Christ and other Saints were put out.
