5 drug suspects collared in Quezon City

Five drug suspects were arrested in latest anti-illegal drug and anti-criminality operations in Quezon City.

Novaliches Police Station (PS 4) under Supt. Rossel Cejas arrested during Oplan Galugad Mark Christian Quianangan, 20, and Arman Galyo, 38, both of Novaliches, at about 1 a.m. yesterday at 43 Genoveva St., Bgy. Gulod, Novaliches. The suspects were caught in the act of sniffing shabu. Seized were one sachet of shabu and drug paraphernalia.

Batasan Police Station (PS 6) under Supt. Joel Villanueva arrested Linel Mark Paderog, 26, of Antipolo City, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday along Sorsogon St., Lupang Pangako, Payatas B, Bgy. Payatas. Paderog was initially accosted for not wearing upper clothing. When frisked, he yielded two sachets of shabu.

Paderog was included on District Intelligence drug watchlist.

Cubao Police Station (PS 7) under Supt. Giovanni Hycenth Caliao arrested during a buy bust operation Richard Casas, 18, of Bgy. Bagong Silangan, at 3:40 p.m. at the second Floor of Farmers Plaza, Bgy. Socorro, Cubao. Seized were one brick and a sachet of dried marijuana leaves, an improvised plastic tooter, a cellphone and the buy-bust money.

Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) under Supt. Louise Benjie Tremor arrested in a buy bust John Mark Siquan, 37, of Bgy. Commonwealth, at 4:55 p.m. along Scout Lozano near corner Tomas Morato Ave., Bgy. Laging Handa. Confiscated were two sachets of shabu, a cellphone and the buy-bust money.

The drug suspects were charged with violation of RA 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
