FIVE drug suspects including a couple were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City Police which resulted in the confiscation of P104,924 worth of shabu.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, PBGEN Ronnie S. Montejo identified the arrestes suspects as Dominador Reyes, alias Obet, 42 and his live-in partner Precious Mae Fredeluces, 32, cousins Syril Eugenio, 34, and Anthony Eugenio, 35, residents of Brgy. Culiat and Armando Ramos, 35, resident of Brgy. Baesa.
A report showed that the Fairview Police Station received a report regarding the illegal drug peddling activities of Obet which prompted the police to set a buy-bust operation at about 8:40 p.m. on October 16, 2020 at 24B Eugenio Compound, Bgy. Culiat.
A poseur-buyer and bought P500 worth of shabu from Obet who came along with Syril Eugenio alias Tisoy.
During the illegal drug transaction, Reyes invited the undercover cop to his house wherein Fredeluces, Anthony and Ramos were allegedly having a shabu session.
The suspects were arrested at the given pre-arranged signal, Reyes is reportedly included in the drug data base of Bgy. Culiat while the other suspects were newly identified drug personalities.
Aside from the buy-bust money, seized from the suspects were 15.43 grams of shabu valued at P104,924, several drug paraphernalia, a sachet of unsealed shabu and a cellular phone.
The drug suspects will be charged with violation of R.A. 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
