Arab found dead in Malate condo

AN Arab tourist believed to have suffered a heart attack was found dead inside his rented condominium unit in Malate, Manila on Friday.

SPO3 Jonathan Bautista of the Manila Police District-homicide section identified the victim as Sanad Abdulrahman Alhossini, 58, a Saudi Arabia national staying at Room 3813 Birch Tower Condominium located at 1622 J. Bocobo St., Malate, Manila.

He was reportedly found dead inside the condominium unit around 3:20 p.m. by his helper Loida Santos, who told the police  that the victim was last seen alive on January 22 when he paid his electric bills.

Santos was said to have vacationed in Cebu and when she returned, her knocks and calls went unanswered prompting her to seek help from the security guard who provided her a duplicate key.

To their surprise, they found the victim already dead and stiff on top of the bed.

Santos told probers that the victim had diabetes and spleen problems and that he was a heavy drinker and smoker.
